Nibble, Somerville & Sake Recommendations

Back in January, at the Sherry & Thai dinner at Ronnarong, I had the pleasure to meet Rachel, of the Somerville Arts Council.  The Arts Council started their own blog, Nibble, which explores food and culture in Union Square.  There is a culturally diverse collection of restaurants and food markets in Union Square, and it is becoming quite a hot culinary destination. So there is a definite need for a blog like Nibble to celebrate and promote these culinary hot spots.

Rachel recently contacted me as she wanted to do an article on the sake at Reliable Market, a fair-sized Asian grocery store.  You can check out that story on Nibble at Sake 101 at Reliable Market.  Reliable Market has one of the largest sake selections in the Boston area, and I provide my top three sake recommendations. Even if you can't get to Reliable Market, your local wine store may either stock these sakes or be able to obtain them for you.  Plus, you will find some other sake tidbits in the article.

Please also join me for a Sake Seminar & Thai Dinner at Ronnarong on Tuesday, March 8 from 6pm-9pm. This will be a fun, delicious and informative event and I hope to see you there. The cost is only $25, plus tax/tip, which is a definite bargain!. You can make reservations by call 617-290-5858 or send an email to hpatt@ronnarongtapas.com.

Kanpai!
